Hyams Beach is a seaside village home to around 300 people, but visited by many. The beach is known for having some of the whitest sand in the world and in contrast with the aqua blue waters; it is a beautiful view you can’t pass up. Surrounded by seaside cottages and old-school beach houses, Hyams Beach is a popular overnight destination. If you have a few days spare or are looking for a relaxing getaway, Hyams Beach should be at the top of your list.
The beach itself is surrounded by the Jervis Bay National Park and Oooderee National Park, making it a beautiful, natural scene. Beach activities include surfing, sailing, stand up paddle boarding and sea kayaking as well as diving and snorkelling. The waters are home to a wide range of wildlife and if you’re lucky you will get to spot some of the friendly seals.
